Benefits of the Modern Learner Programme

This modular programme will enable you to take control of your own personal development and career direction. You'll be able to achieve your learning goals faster and more effectively. You'll develop the skills of self-directed learning that you can use over and over again in your career.

This programme will help you to:

  • Identify where you want to be in the future

  • Consider skills and knowledge you need to develop to achieve your future goals

  • Accelerate your development with self-directed learning practices

  • Have the opportunity to ‘go deep’ with particular learning practices, such as building learning networks, working out loud, or dealing with any skills challenges.

  • Get ahead of your peers by actively managing your personal development

Your questions answered:

  • Why do I need to invest in my personal development?

For many of us our workplaces are changing, and this change is set to continue. We may need to develop new skills, new knowledge and new behaviours. Not just one time, but continually. Our employers can help us with this, but we may need more than they can give us.

  • What is special about this Programme?

This Programme will enable you to develop the skills to reach your career goals whilst building longer term self-development practices that will sustain you going forward. We provide tools and resources to help you develop modern learning techniques and exercises to help you implement them.

  • How does it work?

This hybrid course includes four workshops held over eight weeks plus online content to support learning in-between sessions. Workshops are 1-hour in length and will be held on Zoom. After each workshop we'll release extra materials, videos, tools and templates for you.

  • What if I need additional support?

There's the option to book a coaching session at the end of the programme.

What have others said about this programme?

Helped me make a shift in my career

by Emmanuel Yeboah, Development Engineer

During one of our sessions I expressed my thoughts about working as a CTO or starting my own tech company. With no business I need a playground to experience how it feels to create a tech start-up. Rachel’s advice and questions on how I would achieve this led me to an incubation program to experience being in a start-up whilst managing my daily job. This experience led me to securing my ideal next position.

Helped me broaden the ways I learn leading to career shifts

Maria Hatzigeorgiadou, Growth Strategist

The way Rachel described the learning journey really opened my eyes. I never thought of it like this before and it works. This is what led me to take up coaching. She has a different approach to learning methods and education and training and has helped me to think about learning in a broader sense and broaden out the ways I learn.
